An utterly magical home in which to spend our Southeast England Christmas. The oast house was renovated in a very comfortable and tasteful manner. The master bedroom is in the round tower under the oast roof, with a beautiful en suite bathroom, and massive tub. The kitchen is very well appointed, with everything that one would wish, and a spectacular aga oven. Sheep in the field behind the house added to an idyllic English countryside. Good central location for exploring everything from Salisbury to Dover. Helpful and friendly hosts who were keen to share the farming experience and their beautiful property. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Our best Airbnb experience yet!

We were delighted to be the first guests in the newly renovated loft at Allen's Farm. What a wonderful place! We came for a quiet new year get-away and the loft fitted the bill perfectly. It is comfortable, stylish and beautifully equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. The location is fantastic - right in the middle of the farm. We were aware of some tractor activity and the occasional "moo!" but weren't bothered by noise at all. Carly is an absolutely charming host and provided very clear instructions and a warm welcome. We are looking forward to visiting again!

What an incredible place to spend a few days. The Oast is the perfect get away for a family holiday or a couple of families. The location is so peaceful with fields surrounding you. We had dinner at The Middle House in Mayfield one night which was first class. The Oast is stocked with everything you need to cook, the beds are comfortable and you will feel right at home. We will definitely be back and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Carly is a smashing hostess and responds very quickly to any questions. If you love Airbnbing this is a must!!!!

This place was amazing! The Oast is in a beautiful, rural setting and is exactly as described in the description and pictures. The owners are wonderful and were easy to reach, if needed. We stayed here as we prepared for our daughter's wedding in a near by town, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again. We had great weather but even if it hadn't been the rooms were so spacious that it wouldn't have been a problem. The location is extremely peaceful and great for walking and cycling. We enjoyed the lambs and ducks - added bonus was the ducklings hatching in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have made the stay easier - there was everything we needed in the kitchen, dining room, sitting room and bedrooms. "We had such a fantastic time at Carly's farm stay! The farm house is huge, sparkly clean and well equipped. It is a quick 10min drive to a big village with a waitrose, but the farm itself feels so secluded and beautiful. Carly gave us a map of some walks on the property to go past all the new lambs and calves they had on the property. We had such a fantastic time and would highly recommend for a large family or group of friends."

"Wonderful place to take the kids, and also for adults to hang out in the evenings. The Oast is on a working farm and the kids were really excited to see all the baby animals in the fields which are surrounding and make for a beautiful walk. The family were incredibly welcoming and happy to talk to us and give us tips as to how to get the most out of our stay and tell us about the workings of the farm. Great jumping off point for many local attractions. Layout of the house meant that we were able to have children napping in one part of the building while the others played elsewhere without sound disruption. Aga was lovely. Kitchen well equipped. We were also attracted by the sensible COVID cancellation policy which meant we could book knowing we would not lose out if we had had to isolate."

"We stayed for four nights at this wonderful Oast house with two elderly relatives. With three of the four bedrooms on the ground floor it was ideal. It was spotlessly clean and everything work perfectly, including the underfloor heating and the fantastic Aga. We spent a lot of time in the wonderful cosy kitchen/diner. The attention to detail was brilliant, the kitchen had every conceivable utensil that you could possible need and the night lights in the corridors were a great touch. The accommodation was first class, very spacious with great features like the log burner in the first floor lounge. The host, Carly and her family were very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout. They provided us with a variety of great walks to do around their farm, it was wonderful to enjoy the outdoors getting great views of the Oast house. A Fabulous place to relax."
